Questions?

A: It’s about a 4’x4’ footprint and needs a normal outlet, so typically machines need to be against a wall. Machines do well in unconventional spaces - we love being in a bathroom hallway:)

A: We aim to be an accessible and exciting way to shop locally with all items $20 and under. We accept cash (1's and 5's), card and tap payment.

A: A vending machine’s electrical pull is about that of a lamp, it is essentially only on when someone is using it. The credit card reader connects to the network via a cellular antenna inside the machine. We don’t tap into your internet and handle all payment processing.

A: Jams happen (but much less often than they make it look like in the movies). There’s a QR code and directions right on the front of machine for people to reach out directly to us if they have a problem. We take care of any challenges with the machine so you can keep doing your job.

A: The decision is made collaboratively. We are aiming to make something the feels just right for your space. Based on our communication we will present 3 artists we think could be a fit for your machine. We encourage you to offer up any artists you would like to be included in the presentation.

A: We take care of keeping things fresh and exciting. We want all your feedback. If you want something gone - its gone. If you want us to find something, we start hunting.

A: We will handle all the machine needs. If you are interested in learning how to use the machine we would be happy to show you *we are coil nerds* but it is absolutely not required. We shape our collaboration around your desired level of involvement.

A: We do not require them. We prefer a good faith collaboration and the belief that we wanna be in your space and you want us there, too. If that changes, that’s OK: we maintain ownership of the machine and both parties can choose to end the collaboration at any time.

A: We stock machines weekly on a schedule. We evaluate monthly to see if a space needs more or less visits. The machine’s goods rotate regularly and is curated for your space.

A: We like to think in time-flows not timelines. Since the work is collaborative, different phases begin when others end. It all depends on who is in on the collaboration with us. Generally machines can be turned around in a few months but we are unable to know more specifics until we assemble the team.
